Hope the holidays were wonderful for all!. We have reached the half way mark for our Rotary year and thing are going very well. As of the latest report, we have increased membership by 164 members. About a third of this is due to the formation of the Suicide Prevention and Brain Health club but also congratulations to the Commerce, Greenville, Grand Prairie Metro, Park Cities and Preston Trail clubs for increasing membership by 8 or more.
On January 11, participate in the Department of Homeland Securities WEAR BLUE DAY to bring attention to the issue of human trafficking. DHS’s Blue Campaign’s #WearBlueDay is on January 11 every year. To raise awareness of human trafficking, we would love for every Rotary Club in District 5810 to gather on January 11 in Blue, take a picture and post it to your club’s social media page, newsletter, and website with the #WearBlueDay hashtag. Individual Rotarians can do the same.
