Our corporate member, International Leadership of Texas High School, is inviting all Metro Rotarians to a Veterans Day Ceremony on Friday, November 7, at 3:00 p.m.

The JROTC from ILT is under the direction of Edward Kretschmer (club member). These cadets and other students also volunteer in force at our Pumpkin Run with up to 50 hard-working volunteers.

If you're available to attend, please support these cadets and our veterans.

We are saddened to report the death of District 5810 member, C.C. Collie, on Sunday, October 19, 2025. As a member of the "Greatest Generation," he lived 102 incredible years filled with Rotary's motto of "Service Above Self." He exemplified that motto in every aspect of his long and illustrious life. He was a member of the Rotary Club of Park Cities for 38 years, joining on July 1, 1987. He had the distinction of serving as District Governor for two terms: 1985-1986 and again during 1987-1988 upon the untimely death of Governor-Elect Dwight Sleeper.

We appreciate the many ways C.C. gave back to his community and to the District. We will miss him and send our deepest condolences to his family.
